Bunny Beago-Grimes passed away in Houston on June 19, 2022. A memorial service was held at Clay Road Baptist Church on July 16, 2022. After Waltrip, Bunny graduated from Sam Houston State University with a degree in criminology and worked for the State of Texas in Juvenile and Adult probation. No futher details are available. We will miss her.

Bunny was one of the nicest people I ever knew at Waltrip. She was always helpful and really cared. So to see where she went with her career, shocked me at first, but then after a few seconds she was exactly where she needed to be. I on the other hand spent 22 years legally reducing almost every major oil and gas corp's legal tax liability. My enlightenment came with age, she knew from the beginning. My hat is off to you Bunny for a job well done!

I remember Bunny from all the way back to kindergarten. Many times we would walk home together, at least as far as her house, as I lived several blocks further from Garden Oaks. She was a natural friend, even back then, someone innately special. She is not someone whom I could ever forget.
