ROSEANNE BOSCARINO WATTIGNY April 27, 1951 - March 21, 2007.  Roseanne Wattigny died in the early morning hours of Wednesday, March 21 at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Lafayette, LA., after a heart procedure. Roseanne was gifted with a wonderful sense of humor, a great love for animals, and a sweet spirit which touched the lives of all who knew her. She loved our Lord Jesus Christ and maintained a firm faith as she was welcomed home to be with Him. Roseanne was predeceased by her parents, Paul Anthony Boscarino in 1997 and Lu Dan Tabor Boscarino in 1978, and by her grandparents, Maynard Milton "Tut" Tabor and Katie Ben Tabor and Paul A. "Nunu" Boscarino and Michela "Nuna" Boscarino. At the time of her death, "Rosie" was retired from Continental Airlines where she worked for eighteen years and established many meaningful relationships. She was well respected and loved by all her Continental associates and friends. After retirement she lived with her husband, Mark, at a beach house in Gilchrist, Texas until hurricane Katrina. At that time, they purchased a wonderful new home on a bayou in St. Martinville, LA. Rosie always loved being near the water where she could enjoy sunrises, sunsets and the moon and stars and an occasional margarita. The loves of Rosie's life were her dogs. She cared for them with a passion and deep loving generosity which formed a common bond of understanding and love between them. Merle, her most recent, was able to share a small portion of his life with her. Caring for all God's creatures was always a huge part of her life. She loved to nurture and care for even the tiniest things. Rosie is survived by her husband, Mark Wattigny, two sisters, Michela Owens of Manor, TX and Yvonne Lyles, and two brothers, Paul Boscarino and Joe Boscarino all of Houston, TX, nephews Tommy Wojhan and Seth Lyles and niece Kella Wojhan, Aunt Kay Vaughan, Uncle Bill Tabor all of Austin, TX, Uncle Yon Boscarino, Auntie Mary Aparo and Auntie Rose Crescentini all of Connecticut. This untimely passing of our beloved Roseanne can only be understood with our unquestioned faith in our Lord Jesus Christ. What a beautiful difference one single life made. Her presence, friendship and commitment to others will be truly missed. Roseanne . . . .save us a place and we'll see you on the other side. We love you and miss you . . . . your sisters and brothers.
