Rest in peace my friend. You and I became close pals at the age of 11 and were in Mrs. Kelly 4th. grade class. From that point forward we shared so many great experiences and I will carry those memories in my heart for as long as I walk this earth.
I remember all the hours we played basketball, starting in the 7th grade and ending that part of our life in the 12th grade. The fantastic times camping at Paleface park, near Lake Travis; one most memorable was the time just you , Shannon and I spent one weekend together, Shannon was only 5. We went to the UT basketball game that weekend and I recall that on the back to the campgrounds, you and I somehow became lost( I wonder why?!) and it was Shannon that guided us back to Paleface. Also have fond memories of taking Shannon to the beach and watched the little guy"fight those waves Shannon" as he attacked each incoming wave.
Glenn, my only regreat is that we did not remain as close in our later days, I take responsiblity for that, and as a result of drifting apart, I was not there for you to provide support during your last days.
In closing, I want to say something that often friends are not comfortable expressing and that is " I love you my friend, think of you often and miss you a lot!
