Kathy died 02/19/00 of cervical cancer at 48 years of age.  She is survived by her sister Kay Meek Gibson, father Bruce Meek and nephews Chris and Keith Gibson.

Kathy attended Houston Baptist University and became a nurse, like her mom.  She worked at Memorial Hospital from the time she was a candy striper at 16 until her death at 48.  She never married but she was an incredible aunt and sister.
